5. Well first of all he is just an over all good,decent man (looks included).
4. In order to increase the spirit at Longwood along with getting our name out there more, he proposed that every Friday students should wear a Longwood shirt. (GREAT idea! Why didn't we think of that?). So wear your Longwood shirt on Friday along with your Longwood pride!
3. He doesn't act like he is superior to us, and he has FUN! (Who would have thought that someone in such a professional position as "the President" ->insert OOOs and Ahhhs here<- could have fun? 2 examples: he participated in Color War AND he is dressing up for halloween.
2. He desires to know us students and not simply rule over us. President Finnegan has mentioned that if we see him walking around campus we should stop him and introduce ourselves and say hi. He WANTs us to stop him. Plus he takes the Board of Visitors to Dhall to eat lunch every now and then and he actually sits with the students! He also visits classrooms when he has the time just to sayhi and see whats going on. What other President at Longwood has done that?
1. His vision for Longwood is pure, strong, and you can actually see it already in working motion! This vision is not simply for the economic benefit of LU, but rather it is concerned more with students. The student body has more spirit and pride via events such as "The GAME" already!
So show support for your President in any way you can think of! He is the best thing that has happened to Longwood in a long time! Appreciate! :D
